LORE
/ˈnɛf.ɪ.lɪm/ noun (Hebrew)
lit. fallen ones
Born of angels and human women, the Nephilim are beings of immense size and strength, their presence tied to corruption and the great flood. Later tales link them to the Watchers, angels who broke divine law, their name echoing the Hebrew root “to fall.” They stand as figures caught between heaven and earth, marked by both origin and transgression.

PERFUMER’S NOTES
”I created Nephilim to explore the idea of lust. The union of different beings is a natural taboo yet it carries a strange and undeniable eroticism. For me, no note speaks of sensuality and desire more clearly than the rose. I wanted the fragrance to feel raw, provocative and inviting. My love for vintage perfumes, from Kouros to Knowing to Bal à Versailles, prompted me to weave in an animalic undertone, adding a subtle challenge and hint of discomfort. That tension is part of what makes Nephilim compelling.”
