Its deadly stare was said to turn onlookers to stone, embodying a quiet, looming danger. Yet beneath that fearsome myth lies a tragic figure, burdened by its nature and fate.
"This is the enigma of the collection, the final piece of my initial launch. While the other scents are defined by their dominant accords, Catoblepas resists easy description. You won’t quite know what you're smelling, and that’s the point. The concept behind it comes from the idea of not meeting the gaze of the creature—removing the visual cues we so often rely on. It’s peculiar, foreign, and an intricate, organised chaos all at once."
